Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
New to Reformer Pilates or to Reforme? Find answers about classes, studio policies, parking, memberships and your first visit.
Your First Visit
I've never used a Reformer before. Will I be okay?
Absolutely. While the Reformer may look intimidating at first, it is designed to support your movement—not make it harder. Foundation Flow and our ◈ classes introduce the equipment gradually, and your instructor will guide you throughout class.
Which class should I book first?
We recommend starting with Foundation Flow or one of our ◈ classes. These classes help you learn the fundamentals, become comfortable with the equipment and build confidence before progressing to a faster-paced class.
What do ◈ and ◈◈ mean?
Our level markers help you choose the experience that is right for you.
What should I wear? Do I need grip socks?
Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are required for all classes and are available for purchase at the studio.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class so you have time to settle in and prepare your equipment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, entry is not permitted more than five minutes after class begins.
The Studio
How many people are in each class?
Group classes are intentionally limited to six clients, allowing for personalized instruction and individual attention.
Is parking available?
Yes. City parking is available directly in front of the studio and is complimentary until 10:00 AM daily. Standard city rates apply after 10:00 AM. Free street parking is also available throughout the surrounding neighbourhood.
Bookings & Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before class. Late cancellations and no-shows result in either the loss of a class credit or a $20 fee, depending on the membership or package.
What is your Intro Offer?
Our Intro Offer gives new clients an opportunity to experience the studio, meet our instructors and explore different class styles. Offer details may change throughout the year.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes. We offer monthly memberships and class packages for different schedules and goals.
Private Care
Do you offer private and semi-private sessions?
Yes. Private and semi-private sessions provide a more personalized experience and can be tailored to individual goals, movement needs and experience levels.
Do you offer physiotherapy services?
Yes. Reforme offers physiotherapy services provided by a registered physiotherapist. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing pain, or looking to improve the way you move, your treatment plan may incorporate both hands-on care and Pilates-based movement when appropriate.
If you have extended health benefits, please check with your insurance provider to confirm your physiotherapy coverage.
